 Local production cost: local films > R2,5m
 Local production cost: Foreign films > R12m
 Local actors

Qualifying types
 Feature film. (minimum 80 minutes)
 Tele-movie
 TV drama and mini series
 Documentary (minimum 80 minutes)
 Animation
 Digital content and video gaming
NB: No talk shows, reality TV, news

DTI support programs
How much?
 Local: 35% on first R6m; thereafter
25%
 Foreign: 20% to 25% depending on
QSAPPE.
 No limits
