Sponsorship & Marketing Programs
- Managed high-level sophisticated advertising and partnership programs with a $10M budget for Fortune
500 company (top 20).
- Responsible for managing and expanding Verizon’s team-sponsorship with New England Patriots, the
NFL, Boston Red Sox and Manchester Monarchs as well as related programs with the Verizon Wireless
Arena and WEEI. Past experience also includes the Boston Bruins and Boston Celtics partnerships.
- Developed and managed Verizon’s professional athlete program (baseball, hockey, football, basketball &
soccer) in New England, including close interaction with over 100 professional athletes and family
members to ensure satisfaction while maximizing Verizon marketing opportunities and ROI; identified,
evaluated and recruited all athletes and developed individualized programs for each athlete to best
leverage each engagement for both athlete and Verizon. Sampling of recent athletes include: David Ortiz,
Jerod Mayo, Zdeno Chara, Patrice Bergeron, Malcolm Butler, Tedy Braschi and Jim Rice.
- Managed all contract negotiation and management with professional teams, athletes and service providers;
and primary contact with Verizon legal.
- Launched cause-based charitable program and community engagement efforts with yearly donations of
$50K in sports memorabilia to assist local charities raise in the aggregate approx. $75K with limited or no
incremental cost to Verizon.
- Implemented and launched mobile and social campaigns and contests (including NFL Mobile) and new
store launches to drive subscriber growth and retention, data consumption and revenue growth.
- Identified, developed and implemented real-time marketing opportunities and initiatives in connection
with the World Series, Stanley Cup Playoffs.
Event Planning & Execution
- Responsible for planning and execution of significant corporate events of varying sizes for key customers,
partners and employees at high profile venues, including Fenway Park, Gillette Stadium, the Verizon
Wireless Arena, TF Garden, RI Convention Center, Chatham Bars Inn & Intercontinental Hotel.
- Expertly planned all elements including budgeting, review of locations, invitations and theme. Ensured
best rates by skillfully negotiating with vendors, and entertainers. Secured all event service providers
including venue, food, beverage, AV, photographer, entertainment, key-note speakers and giveaways.
- Seamlessly orchestrated events with budgets up to $500,000 with up to 2000 attendees.
- Optimized attendee event-based experiences and engagement with Verizon products, promotions and
spokespersons/celebrity guests.
- Developed and oversawVerizon’s Activation Program at the Verizon Wireless Arena
- Additional activation experience at large scale venues such as Gillette Stadium and Fenway Park.

Client & Partner Management 
- Managed and supported national sales channel partners at 300 locations, including all New England-
based Staples, Wal-mart, Best Buy and Target.
- Responsible for recruitment, management and training of 25 customer service reps and supervisors as well
as individualized teams to assist in athlete and event related programs
- Administered New England-wide ticket program; responsible for all ticket allocation to high-profile
customers and clients to build and maintain bustiness relationships to grow the business.
Sales Channel Management & Market Analysis
- Evaluated sales data and trends on monthly and quarterly basis and implement local marketing initiatives
to address and respond to certain developments in the New England marketplace.
- Collaborated and analyzed market data with regional presidents, channel directors and other national and
regional colleagues to identify trends and issues and constructed programs internally with various sales
channel partners (i.e Verizon-owned stores and Staples) to respond to same.
- Focused on CEX “Voice of the Customer” reports to improve overall customer experience and address
areas of concern
- Analyzed subscriber data (i.e. data consumption, retention, customer acquisition and growth) and
Verizon-marketing initiatives to identify levers to drive growth, data consumption and revenue (RPU).
- Supported various national and regional sales initiatives and teams, including Social Media, Direct Mail,
Out of Home and inbound customer calling campaigns.
- Developed sales channel programs to drive revenue and reward and incentivize sales teams and employees.
Notable Accomplishments:
✓ Successfully increased sales more than 96% by developing the “Bring on the Growth” sales contest, concentrating on
new quota attainment.
✓ Increased YOY-weekly data consumption per user by over 177% as the New England NFL Mobile lead.
✓ Developed and launched innovative Verizon programs, including Professional Athlete Program (New England) and
charitable-community outreach programs.
✓ Continually developed and executed "One in a Lifetime" events to reward and recognize top performing employees and
Verizon Wireless customers.
