Editor-in-Chief & Co-Founder of Her Campus Winthrop November 2014 - present
Her Campus Winthrop is a chapter of the national Her Campus organization. This company is an online
women’s magazine for college women. As editor-in-chief, I am responsible for managing a team of 14 staff
writers, editing and publishing articles, managing social media accounts and also help with the promotion of
Her Campus Media. I work with my co-founder to run organized weekly meetings and to provide a fun yet
professional environment for young journalists.
Assistant News Editor at the Johnsonian November 2014 - May 2015
The Johnsonian is Winthrop University’s college newspaper and I am the assistant news editor. I am responsible
for designing layouts, writing stories, writing police reports and attending Council of Student Leaders meetings.
