in the Nepean and Blue Mountains Local Health District (NBMLHD) and

6. The Approach
› Technology is only the beginning
› Nepean Telehealth committee - govern and create Telehealth protocols
and regulations to promote and accelerate the growth of Telehealth
technologies.
›
› Hospital to Hospital
› Hospital to Home
› Tele proctoring

7. Hospital to hospital – Remote monitoring
› Telehealth research partnership between the university of Sydney and with
Telstra
› To validate, refine and test a Proof of Concept trial of remote patient
monitoring (RPM) at the Nepean Hospital (intra-hospital) and also
remotely from its partnering hospitals within the local health district (interhospital).

17. Potential collaboration
› Telehealth know-hows and sharing
experiences
- Special issue on “Telehealth Systems
and Application” in IEEE Journal of
Biomedical and Health Informatics
- Making a handbook of NTTC
› Expansion of our NTTC
- New technology?
- New deployment?
- New evaluation?
