Re: Chris Akehurst
Chris was employed at our company as a Lifting Equipment Engineer for a period of
approximately 19 months during the period January 2011 to July 2012.
During this period he reported directly to me and my predecessor Moreno Rampoli. His
duties and responsibilities included overseeing all the lifting operations activities, auditing,
reviewing and inspecting equipment belonging to on site contractors as well as viewing and
approving all lift plans, acting as focal point for the Company.
Due to his vast experience in lifting operations and positive attitude to safety, we adopted a
new role for Chris as HSE Advisor / Lifting Engineer with more responsibilities of which he
carried out in an excellent manner.
Chris was at all times very co-operative, friendly, hard working, and extremely competent. He
accepted his responsibilities with eagerness and completed them in a timely and professional
manner. His attendance was exemplary and interpersonal skills were very polished and
professional.
I believe Chris would be a tremendous asset to any organisation.
It is with regret that Chris has left our company, however his success with us resulted in him
attaining all the challenges we had to offer, and he wished to find a new challenge. I have
every confidence that Chris will have a successful career with any organisation he joins and I
wish him all the best for the future.
Sincerely,
Alessandro Masiero
