Personal Profile
I am an enthusiastic and hardworking individual who has a mature and professional approach
to all my work. I enjoy learning new skills and I quickly learn new methods and trades. I enjoy
being part of a team as well as working alone and using my own initiative meaning I’m well
organized and efficient
Over the last five years I have achieved an Advanced Mechanical Engineering Apprenticeship
at Kirklees College. My current employer, Hystat Systems Ltd sponsored the apprenticeship.

I began working at Hystat Systems in 2009 where I was employed as a junior apprentice for
the company. I successfully completed the initial 3 years apprenticeship scheme at Kirklees
College on an Advanced Apprenticeship Program. I am skilled in manual turning and vertical
CNC milling, setting, operating, programming and inspection of intricate components.
I have gained many years’ experience in my job role and as a valued member of the team I
am often asked to help train new and third year apprentices within the company and really
enjoy this level of responsibility.
Ace Energy Ltd 2007-2009
Responsibilities included the careful handling of volatile substances of bottle gas as well as
pre-pack fuel distribution. I gained my JCB telescopic handler license whilst working here.
March 2005 -2007 CPS Extract
Daily tasks involved MIG ,TIG and Stud welding as well as guillotine operation. Other tasks
included nationwide pharmaceutical extraction installation.

The role included assisting with airfield operations. Duties included marshaling aircraft into
stands, communicating with apron control and ensuring general airport security and health
and safety within the airport.
