1. Kathy Thibodeaux This biography is about Kathy Thibodeaux, founder of America’s first Christian ballet company. She first began dancing at an early age, and in 1979 became a Christian. KathyThibodeaux~ pg. 2 As one who challenged traditional ballet minds to conceive of a way to successfully integrate “Christianity” with an already respected art form, there were many voices of doubt. Her belief in what she felt was possible, alongside those who also shared the same commitment of faith in Jesus Christ has carried the vision to what everyone has access to enjoy today. The Ballet Magnificat! ministry encompasses schools, two ballet companies that tour, summer workshops for students, teachers, and even worship dancers.
