• Specifically Parks and Recreation
• Lincoln Recreation Center
• Southwood Community Center
• After-school and summer programming

• Similar programming and structure
• Approved in April 2013

5. Focus of Ordinance
Specific to Parks and Recreation:
• Staffing responsibilities – designate hierarchy
• Ratios – better than industry standards
– Standard = <20 youth – 1 staff
– CSPARD = 15–1 @ Lincoln Rec. Center; 10-1 @ SWCC
(ratio depends on age, location, and activity)
• Training and Discipline – updating current staff
and parent manuals
