3. History Of
Granada
In 711 the Arabs had conquered most of Iberian
Peninsula.
Cordoba was the capital, but Granada became
one of the
most important cities in the realm.
Around seven centuries later the Catholic
Monarchs reconquered almost all the
territory of Iberian Peninsula, except
Granada.
4. But in 1492 the Catholic Kings conquered the Kingdom
of Granada, and all the Arabs were finally expelled
from Spain.

IT IS CELEBRATED ON THE 2ND OF JANUARY AND IT´S THE
MOST IMPORTANT FEAST THERE,
DUE TO ITS HISTORICAL SIGNIFICANCE.
Holy Week
THIS FEAST TAKE PLACE EVERY YEAR FROM 13R TO 20 OF
APRIL, AND IT IS A RELIGIOUS CELEBRATION WITH LOST OF
PROCESSIONS IN THE STREETS.
