 Karma is an overall view of yourself on
reddit. There are two types of karma,
link and comment karma. When people
upvote your links and comments your
karma amount increases. When they
downvote you, your karma decreases.

Subreddits are basically the categories that
separate information and posts. Therefore the
viewers can find the specific things they are
looking for easily.

 These are only an example of a few
subreddits. Though there is no age limit on
reddit, some subreddits may be boring or
inappropriate for young children.
