PROFILE
A highly experienced and motivated Specialist Engineer Surveyor as part of RSA Engineering Technical &
Consultancy Department, carrying out inspection and advising clients on statutory requirements on a variety
of pressure plant and equipment within the West of Scotland. Currently I work from home scheduling site
visits, leasing with clients on specific site requirements and completing inspections on a wide range of steam
raising equipment, plus numerous other industrial pressure systems.I am effective planner and
communicator comfortable working on my own or as part of a team. Prior to working for RSA I complete an
apprenticeship and became fully qualified and time served Welder/ Boiler Fabrication Engineer,a careerthat
that was enhanced upon completion of NIC corgi Gas Certification at which point I became part of a 24 hour
call out team which then led to becoming workshop manager at LD Boilers in Shotts.

Qualified and authorized to carry out thorough examination of pressure systems and equipment in
line with UKAS and SAFed requirements.
Schedules inspections,completes and issues all associated reports and statutory documentation.
Represents RSA in high level technical client meetings within a variety of industries including the
nuclear, petrochemical and service sectors.
Resolving client queries, providing technical and legislative advice as and when required.
Provide training to and assessment ofother RSA Engineer Surveyors as required.
