4. 1. Eating every three hours will speed the metabolism.
While frequently claimed, there is no scientific evidence or
research to back this assertion.
2. Drink eight glasses of water daily. Many adhere to this
rule with unnecessary strictness. Drink plenty of water, but
you may not need 64 fluid ounces each day. Some of this
fluid will come from food, as well. Just be mindful and
make sure you’re not dehydrated.
3. Eggs raise cholesterol. Whenever someone hears they
need to lower their cholesterol, they seem to cut out eggs
first. This is not necessary. Eggs should be eaten in
moderation, but they will not spike cholesterol. Plus, they
provide the body with many important nutrients.
