  wheelchairs for wheelchairs and other
children from the children take part in
Orphanage # 8 who is the outings.
  living now in PNE 11,
  E’latma & Ryzan.  The Volunteer
 Each new wheelchairs protocol is finalized
adapted to fit the with the orphanage

  specifications of each
  child.
ELATMA
17 years old Kursin Andrey

 Andrey is now 17 and there was a time when he could walk.
However, later he stopped waking and due to strong
spastics in hips area he tend to lie in the position of an
                   embryo.
                Diema’s Dream organized Andrey’s examination by a
leading orthopedist, ordered special equipment and paid for
massages and special treatment sessions for the child.
 Now Andrey can sit in a wheelchair without support and
even stand up when supported. However he is far from
being able to walk. Taking into account that he is quite big
and heavy for orphanage personnel to carry him anywhere,
he really needs a wheelchair to have any chance of
communicating outside the walls of his bedroom.
ELATMA
                                          Korovichute Lena

 Lena has a whole package of physical disabilities – her
feet are strongly deformed, she has strong spastics in
her hands (she keeps them bended) and, what’s worst of
all, her spine and therefore whole back is deformed.
 After consultation with a leading doctor, purchase of a
firm corset and devices to support her legs, she learned
to stand up and, when supported, is learning to take a
    few steps.
 Notwithstanding this progress, Lena is not able to go
for a walk without a wheelchair.
SHAKIROV ROMAN
                 Mental deficiency at the
19 years old level of imbecility. ICP.
 Since Roma saw our gifts – the new
wheelchairs, he started asking us –
«What are these – new wheelchairs? Who
are these for? This is my wheelchair, isn’t
                     it?».
 We answered it was a regard from Mary
and a present from very kind people from
                     a distant land.
 Roma remembered Mary right away and
                     sent her the video-message.
 Being quite a speaker Roma understands
the speech very well, and he could
probably tell us much interesting about
his uneasy life. But the most important
thing is that he could teach us positive
reaction to anything happening in this
                     world.
 Roma is fond of listening to music and
dancing with his hands. He is sociable
and amicable. Extensively taking part in
different actions (holidays etc.) he needs
                     new wheelchairs to enlarge possibilities.

                     assistance.
 He is very tidy. Spending
                     more time in the wheelchair
                     than other kids which makes
it is so important in his life.
 Incapable to move by himself,
                     but aims at communication

                     macaroni and painting them
                     in different colors, especially
                     when friend is around.Jenya
                     likes to teach other people

                 Andrey needs much care
                    of the people around.
                 He often makes
                    attempts to explain his
                    needs to personnel.
                 Moves in a wheelchair
                    with outside help so
                    well-built and
                    comfortable carrier is
                    very important.

 Vanya is a unique person. In spite of his
diagnosis he shows astonishing mental abilities.
 He easily understands simple things, the speech
referred to him. Realizes what he may or may not
                   do.

                   adult.
 The better you know Vanya, the more you want
people to love him and share his vivid interest to
                   the world.
 Vanya can partially help himself. He can eat by
himself but needs personnel’s assistance to get
                   dressed.
 Though Vanya needs outside help to move
around Orphanage, we watch him being more
                   self-dependent with his new wheelchair.
