Our International Partners
Diema’s Dream Russia is very fortunate to have international partners that support the
efforts to help disabled children in Russia
Diema’s Dream America:
Established in 1998 in the USA, volunteers work throughout the country to raise funds host-
ing bazaars and auctions of fine Russian crafts. All funds raised at these events are used to sup-
port programs in Russia. Debra Cockrell (Exec Dir/CFO) and Mary Dudley coordinate the
activities of the volunteers. They have organized 4 auctions in the US, 6 auctions in Moscow
and organized 24 bazaars all around the USA.
Diema’s Dream United Kingdom:
Established in 2003 in the UK. The volunteers in Britain have held auctions and bazaars in
support of the children programs supported by Diema’s Dream. Olga Makharinsky and Elena
Ragozhina have held 4 auctions to raise funds to support the children’s programs in Russia.
They approached Mary and Debra to lend their support when Mary returned to Moscow
because of her husband’s work. Prior to that time, Mary and Debra organized 6 auctions and
over 16 bazaars in the London area.
Diema’s Dream Canada:
Newly established in Nov 2008. Myra Hird felt compelled to volunteer after seeing a short
segment about Diema’s Dream on NBC Nightly news on 3/11/07. She and her husband,
Anthony Krivan, have been instrumental in forging this new organization. They have built a
foundation with many professional volunteers in the medical field. In April 09, they are host-
ing 3 young professionals from Orphanage No. 8 and our Family Center for a month’s training
in Kingston and Calgary.
