our Eco Club to take up the initiative to
clean this area.

We would join hands and start cleaning the place.

Our life is composed greatly from dreams, from the
unconscious, and they must be brought into
connection with action. They must be woven together.

After a brain storming session with Eco Club
members we came up with these ideas…..
•We thought of conducting a
survey in our neighborhood
to identify who all are
disposing the household
waste near the school.
•Request them to reduce
wastage.
•Segregate the waste.
•Explain the concept of 3Rs –
Reduce , Reuse, Recycle.

Dear Sir/Ma’am,
It is very sad to note the filth and garbage dumped in the area just outside Kerala Public School, Mango. It
not only renders the place dirty but is also a breeding ground for all kinds of germs leading to diseases.
With hygiene in mind, the school has taken up the initiative to keep the area clean.
The Eco Club of KERALA PUBLIC SCHOOL, MANGO has started a project VERMI COMPOST whereby it will
collect the garbage from the building and put it in a pit dug in the school. In this way, it will reduce the
solid waste dumped outside thereby making this area clean.
In this connection we need your co-operation. We request you to separate the vegetable and fruit peels
from the other waste and keep it in a separate paper bag so that it can be collected from Monday
onwards.
Ms. Reena, who collects the waste from the building, has been engaged by us, to dispose the same in the
waste pit in the premises of KPS Mango.

Sun shines everywhere but crops grow only where the
farmer has worked hard.
Similarly, GARBAGE is everywhere but we have to work
together to reuse and recycle it…
