Diana Baird worked as a direct report form me for several years. I was and remain the Quality Systems Manager at
Exelis and Diana was a Quality Engineer.
Diana came to work at Exelis in October 2010. She was assigned to high dollar, high profile, challenging programs.
Her programs required consistent interface with the Navy and Air Force. Diana used her technical expertise and
excellent communication skills to quickly become proficient on these programs with minimal supervision.
On all programs Diana worked, she ultimately became the technical and contractual expert learning all phases of
the program. She was always a good ambassador for Exelis, often working through technical, manufacturing, and
test issues with both the customer and management team at Exelis.
Diana’s skills, job knowledge, work ethic, and dedication made her a tremendous asset in the QA organization. She
