5. Welcome to 4-H Jr. FLL
• We will meet twice a month
• We will learn about forces of Nature that cause
Natural Disasters and loss to Humans and the
environment
• You will need to study the Natural Disaster that is
caused and then decide whether you want to help
people prevent the damage and prepare for it or
survive it or rebuild after it
• You will build a model with moving parts to
represent a creative idea that would help
prevent, survive or rebuild after a natural disaster

• We will work on working as a team
– What are some important things that good
teams do?
• We will work on good communicating
– Good talkers as well as good listeners
• We will learn about building and
programming basic robots
