Habitat for humanity: east bay Over the past 20 years Habitat for Humanity East Bay has served 250 low and very-low income families in Alameda and Contra Costa Counties by providing affordable home-ownership opportunities to low-income families who meet three criteria: Low income Need for housing. 5. Habitat for Humanity How We are Going to Make a Difference Building Events/ Other volunteer opportunities There’s practically an event every week. -> current plan is one building day per month -> can be higher if wanted Fundraise money for building supplies

6. Requirements All members must attend 80% of all meetings $10 Membership Fee -> print out all forms on School Loop and fill out 3 points per semester -> points can be earned by volunteering

7. NHS NHS has agreed to grant service points for HBH events -> for every event that you go to, you will be awarded one service point for NHS
