Cobroamericas operates out of Mexico’s Caribbean state of Quintana Roo, with
commercial representation in Mexico City. Supported by correspondent offices in
Bogota (Colombia), Santiago (Chile), Sao Paulo (Brazil) and Willemstad (Curacao), and
with independent third party collection partners or law firms in practically every
country of Latin America and many other countries all over the world, our executives
have the experience on an international level and at the same time possess the know-

Debt collection in Latin America
Cobroamericas represents many international companies and debt collection agencies
specifically for collections in Latin America. The benefits for our clients are
considerable: we speak the languages (in-house English, Spanish, Portuguese,
German, French, Italian and Dutch), we share the same or a similar time zone, we are
familiar with cultural habits and payment behaviour, and we know the local legal
systems.
In addition to our correspondent offices in Colombia, Chile and Brazil, we have a
sophisticated network of trusted third party law firms who assist us in case of extra-
judicial settlement approaches, site visits and legal proceedings. We currently have
partnered with law firms in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Curacao,
Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua,
Panama, Peru, Puerto Rico, Guadeloupe and Venezuela.
For all our collection services mediation is a key part of our business model. We try to
safeguard and where possible re-establish or fortify the (commercial) relationship
between yourself and your client.

2. Also, as part of our collection services we give legal advice once we reach the end of
the amicable stage and the amounts claimed on your behalf remain unpaid. Before we
take any legal actions, you will be provided with tailor made legal advice which, if
applicable, includes an estimated budget for legal costs, and a time frame for legal
proceedings. It is our company policy not to incur any costs on your behalf without
your prior written approval.
Information reports
Cobroamericas provides information reports on companies based in Latin America. As
part of your due diligence procedures, Cobroamericas’ information reports show your
business partner’s or debtor’s corporate structure, financial status, payment behaviour,
credit history, and media coverage (all to the extent such information is available).
Reports can even include a site visit carried out by our local partner or law firm. Our
information reports give you comfort while closing deals with new business partners
and is key to determine the financial situation of your debtors.

Cobroamericas’s business model is based on a couple of characteristics, which we
define as our “key figures”, set out below:
• Quality: We procure a high quality service based on the experience and
expertise of our team and our network, and position ourselves as on the high-
end of international business.
• Knowledge: Knowledge of international and local collection procedures in
house and within our network which, as a client of Cobroamericas, you have
access to.
• Direct client communication: you communicate directly with our collections
executives, not a call center.
• Free risk arrangement: the debtor is instructed to pay directly to you rather
than through us – as it is your money we are collecting. In addition,
Cobroamericas collects exclusively on a no cure, no pay basis (this only goes for
collections in the amicable phase), offering you a real free risk arrangement.
• Competitive prices: Our pricing is unique for the collection business in our
region, with customarily 15% for international collections.
