 Designation: Working as “Junior Executive”.
HPCL-Mittal Energy Limited (HMEL) is a joint venture between Hindustan Petroleum
Corporation Limited (HPCL) and Mittal Energy Investment Pvt. Ltd, Singapore – a Lakshmi
N Mittal Group Company. HMEL is a Grass root Oil Refinery of 9 MMTPA at Bathinda in
Punjab, called Guru Gobind Singh Refinery Project.
Being a Junior Executive I was involved in Pre-commissioning, Commissioning and Start-up
activities of VGO-HDT & D-HDT (Hydrotreater) Unit which has basic technology by
AXENS, France & detailed engineering by EIL, India.
Through Knowledge of Process control, safe start-up, Normal and shut down operations as
well as Emergency situations in Field as per established procedures/operating manuals and
good industry practices. Familiar with preparation and understanding of PFDs, P&IDs, and
Plant control Philosophy.
 Plant & Personal Safety, Process Monitoring, Stabilization, Steady state Operation, Trouble
shooting, and Handling of Emergencies in Field Operations.
 Following Work to Permit (WTP) system during Plant Operation.
