                 KEY POINTS OF THE PROCESS

    Thermylis™
        2S        FIELD OF APPLICATION:

                  The Thermylis™ 2S is perfectly adapted to sludge with
                  low volatile matter content (<60%) and low
                  calorific value.
                  For this reason, it is suitable for both urban and
                  industrial wastewater sludge:
                           - Digested sludge,
                           - Tertiary sludge
                           - All weakly dehydrated sludge

                  MAXIMUM DRYNESS:
                  •The dryness of dehydrated sludge to be incinerated
                  must be between 17 and 25% dry matter.

FUNCTIONAL PRINCIPLE:
                                THE STAGES

1   Pre-dryer
    Eliminates the quantity of water in the
    sludge before incineration                        2

2   Fluidized sand bed incinerator

    The incineration is done at 850°C                             3
    continuously for optimal elimination of
    organic matter and endocrine substances

    The energy is recovered to supply the pre-
    dryer for a reduced overall energy balance.

CONTEXT:                                                  DESIGN:
• Construction of a WWTP of 300,000 PE                    • Sludge treatment line:

• Commissioning of the plant: mid-2011
                                                          • Dryness of the sludge entering the

BIOSOLIDS BIOSOLIDES KEY POINTS OF THE PROCESS Thermylis™ 2S FIELD OF APPLICATION: The Thermylis™ 2S is perfectly adapted to sludge with low volatile matter content (<60%) and low calorific value. For this reason, it is suitable for both urban and industrial wastewater sludge: - Digested sludge, - Tertiary sludge - All weakly dehydrated sludge MAXIMUM DRYNESS: •The dryness of dehydrated sludge to be incinerated must be between 17 and 25% dry matter. 5 5
