Goal #2 Explore the Bible Lands… St. Peter’s Primacy - Sea of Galilee Traditional site where Jesus Christ appeared to his disciples after his resurrection Church of St. Gabriel – Nazareth Orthodox tradition has it that the Annunciation occurred not at Mary's house but while she was fetching water. This Orthodox church is built over the spring that feeds the ancient Mary's Well Basilica of the Annunciation – Nazareth Tradition holds this was the site of the home of Mary & site of Gabriel's announcement to Mary that she would give birth to the savior of the world. Mount Nebo - Jordan Where Moses was given a view of the promised land that God was giving to the Jews
