Donald James Clarke originally from Altrincham Cheshire in the United Kingdom. Resided in Jersey
Channel Islands from 1970 until moving to the Netherlands in 2007. I am currently living in the
Netherlands with my partner.

KNOWLEDGE AND WORK EXPERIENCE
2007 – 2014 Contracted to ABN Amsterdam direct through TCP Management Services BV.
‘IT and Business Consultant’ for the migration of clients / products and Services
to the ‘New’ SCORE General Ledger Platform for RBS. Involved in preparation of
the ‘Feasibility’ study and the detailed ‘Change Analysis’ (document for ensuring that
all products and services can be met by the new platform), responsible for the
training of existing staff in the use of the new platform. Reconciliation of Financial
data during conversion and investigate any differences. Building of ‘templates’ for
users and ensuring the ‘Operating Models’ are in place for the users.
Developed new products where and when required, liaise with Finance to ensure
correct accounting procedures are in place and assist with the Head Office reporting
requirements.
Provided on-line support to senior management for reporting and analysis of
specifically required data.
Involved with the conversion of all the RBS branches from NV status to the PLC

status, ensuring reconciliation and clearing of items from old status to the new status
in a correct and timely manner. Lending assistance to the Finance teams around the
globe to ensure correct procedures followed.
Instigated a Change Analysis for changing the platform in Belgium from Midas to
SCORE General Ledger incorporating product mapping / training / Budgets /
delivery times / Back up platform and all Financial aspects of the project.
Implemented the ‘SCORE’ platform in Zurich and Luxembourg, responsible for
Change Analysis / Conversion / reconciliation / training of users and operating
model.
On-going support role for training users with in the ‘Global’ platform for Finance
and general Back office departments.
Involved in the analysis of the new proposed ‘new’ future Banking platform for RBS
Global.
Responsible for the setting up and running of a ‘New’ project for IT global security
for access to SCORE platforms in the European Network. This was to automate
and reconcile the user access on a daily basis.
2007 – 2007 Contracted to ABN Amsterdam retail Banking group via BSS Limited
‘Business Consultant’ for preparing a new Global platform for Retail Banking with
‘Infosys’ in India. Attended intense training sessions for 3 months to build a ‘Future’
retail banking platform. Project not completed due to the RBS / ABN merger then I
was transferred to Amsterdam to investigate the possibilities of using SCORE
general Ledger to the Dutch business to be transferred to RBS.
Inititiave I am a highly motivated person, preferring to find solutions rather than ‘blame’
individuals. I have been involved very closely with product developments and have
also been involved in developing a global solution for ‘Sweeping’ funds to a central
location for treasury related business.
Challenges of projects are there to be overcome by a team and it is getting the best
from the team that I am able to do.
