Performance Task

2. Mrs. Becker/Adversity
• Mrs. Becker was really scared. She thought she
wouldn’t survive. The Titanic was ending and she
was on board. She thought she wouldn’t be able to
escape, but thank god she did.
• She knew that the Titanic was sinking
because they announced that all the
compartments were all flooded.

3. Adversity
• Mrs. Becker faced her
challenge by asking to get on a
boat to escape the collapsing
Titanic.

4. Jonas’s Adversity
• Jonas’s challenge was to
receive the memory and some
of it is pain and some of it is
happiness.
• As he receives the memory, he
sees how things were in his
community and he sees that his
dad killed the baby.

5. Adversity
• He faces his adversity by, running
away and bringing his little
brother with him so he doesn't get
killed.

6. Seventh Grade Adversity
• Victor is scared to talk to the
girl and fakes speaking French
to get her to notice Victor.

7. Adversity
• He faces his adversity by
helping the girl with French,
even though he doesn’t know
French.

8. Solution
• The solutions to the stories is
that they faced them by, finding
something like for example,
Jonas ran away from home or
like, victor acted like he knew
French so he could get the girls
attention.
