DuPont GENENCARE™ OSMS BA is a natural choice
to manage the right-moisture balance in skin cells. It is a
highly versatile osmoprotectant that occurs naturally in skin
and hair, protecting them from environmental stress. Key
benefits include skin moisturization, improvement of tight
junctions, anti-irritant properties and high water retention in
hair. GENENCARE™ OSMS BA is easy to formulate and is
soluble in water, ethanol, propylene glycol and glycerin. In
addition, GENENCARE™ OSMS BA improves the solubility
of allatoin and salicylic acid. DuPont is continually investing
to improve the GENENCARE™ range and developing new
applications for natural betaine.

can be used in most cosmetic
applications to provide long-term moisture retention. Xivia™
also exhibits anti-bacterial benefits. In fact the oral hygiene
benefits of Xivia™
have been well recognised for many
decades, and it is common to find Xylitol as an ingredient in
toothpaste and mouthwash.These anti-bacterial properties
can also be seen with some skin bacteria, which provides a
