1. Youth international Congress - 2016
The ECCD with the cooperation of Dekwaneh's Municipality, has the honor to
inform you, that within the framework of the Youth International . congress 2016
that will take place in Lebanon from the 6th to the 12th of August 2016 under the
sponsorship of the Lebanese University, is ready to receive 400 young girls and
boys, between 18 and 30 years of age, coming from 40 western and Arabic
countries and 100 journalists from all over the world to participate and contribute
to this event.
This assembly in Lebanon is a unique event in the Middle East and the Arab
world. It reflects the peacefulness, open-mindedness and the cultural assets in the
country of Cedars, as well as its openness to civilizations dialogue. It's an
invitation for the youth to open up to each others in order to consolidate the
societies and people's relations.
for us, we are proud, by building bridges between many coloredcivilizations,
to be on the top of peace funders.
The program of this congress is the following:
Saturday 6/8/2016:
- Arrival of the delegations
Sunday 7/8/2016:
- First day of the congress activities (cultural and touristic visits)
Monday 8/8/2016:
- Pedagogical and touristic visits.
Tuesday 9/8/2016:
- Environments activity whereas each participant will plant a tree that would hold
his name or the name of his country, within the project untitled "The Youth
peace Forest 2016".
- Sports' activities where all the delegations will participate in order to
consolidate the communication among the youth.
Wednesday 10/8/2016:
- The official inauguration of the congress (cultural meeting and activities for 2
days. "Role of the youth in the civilizations dialogue."
The following subjects will be tackled:
- The youth and culture via the social communication.
- The Arab world's point of view towards youngsters.
Thursday 11/8/2016:
- "The Role of the youth in the civilizations dialogue" – Part II:
- The Social, economical and religions challenges and problems of the youth.
- The woman's role and rights in the western and eastern societies.
- Media conference entitled: The Freedom of expression and international peace.

2. Friday 12/8/2016
- Departure of the delegations.
The participants will write their reports to evaluate the events and to minute their
recommendations for future manifestations.
The participants will eventually, issue their opinions for the authorities that they
do represent or the governments of their countries.
The local, Arab and western medias will cover this event which is an
international manifestation aiming for consolidating the human relations within
different societies.
The official language of the congress is Arabic with a possibility of
simultaneous translation into other languages.
The "ECCD" intends to hold this congress on a yearly basis in Lebanon.
Therefore, the Club aspires eventually to be the international focus and the meeting
point of international cultures and to found different subsidiaries in every corner of the
world.
The "ECCD" glimpse as well the possibility for cooperating and collaborating
with different official or private Lebanese institutions, the Arab or western embassies,
The European Union, The United Nations mission in Lebanon, The Central Bank and
any other organizations or institutions operating in Lebanon, in order to succeed this
international event which has the humanity and international peace as its aim.
Thus, the "ECCD" hopes to arrange a meeting in order to explain the program
of this international Congress and its goals.
