2. LOGO
Beyoncé over the years, has reinvented her logo every time she decides to
create a different musical sound. Her current logo has pink font over a
strong black background. The pink font connotes beauty and innocence
which contrasts with the typography used as it is strong and edgy with the
use of capital letters. Beyoncé is known for music that empowers women
and her new logo is the first indication of this.
3. NAME OF THE ARTIST
Beyoncé's full name Beyoncé Giselle Knowles however, her stage name is
just “Beyoncé.” She has created such a strong brand around her, that she
can refer to herself as just Beyoncé and it is recognsiable to the public. By
keeping her real name, Beyoncé is showing that she is down to earth and
still in touch with her roots and how her stardom began.
4. WEBSITE
The aesthetic for Beyoncé's new website is all white and black which makes it timeless
and classy. The layout is very clear and concise with little writing. As an artist, Beyoncé
is becoming more visually conscious, this is reflected in her website as videos and
images make up a majority of the site. Her latest two albums have aimed to create
music videos with a meaningful purpose to accompany each song. Beyoncé's website
informs the reader on current events like the US election and the need to vote. The
most inspiring element of the website is the “BEYGOOD” tab. This is a collective forum
for Beyoncé to have stories which inspire her of others doing good in the world. “The
vault” is a tab containing information about Beyoncé's life and backstory, it also
contains a gallery with images of her. We also get the chance to buy merchandise and
see images from her tour.
Social media links are
at the bottom of the
website allowing
Beyoncé’s fans to
follow her on other
media platforms.

6. HOW ARE THE ARTIST’S IN
YOUR GENRE
REPRESENTED?
Beyoncé is all ways seen to be smiling and upbeat, as she aims to motivate others in
the genre of pop. With a career that has lasted decades, Beyoncé now seems so
established that others in the industry who are up and coming are fans of hers. Here
music is used as female anthems for empowerment showing us she is clearly a
feminist wanting to give back to other women/girls. Many females in the industry rely
on their sex appeal, she relies on her strength and stands up for everything she
believes in. Controversial topics like race are never off limits for her, therefore she is
admired by many for being so vocal.
7. ARTICLES
As I typed in Beyoncé’s name, many articles about
current politics came up. She is an artist very
concerned with making a difference to the planet
making like likeable and down to earth. By being
involved in the presidential race she is shown to not
only be caring but high up in the celebrity hierarchy.
She met both candidates.
