impact of the visual image in learning

let the students lead
it's bigger than inquiry ~ authentic learning
encourage students to make a difference in their own and
other's lives
co-construct schema ~ make it explicit & transparent
celebrate learning journeys ~ process & outcome
contextualize communication ~ formal & informal
weaknesses are opportunities ~ this provides change
de-jargon but don't dumb down
Day 3
Future Focused Schools ~ always have the horizon in mind
Learner centric ~ students & teachers, we are all learners
Sustainability ~ owned and lived
Mobile technologies & cloud computing
Personalization of learning for students & teachers ~ feedback is the
food of champions
Getting the balance right between old & new ~ certainty has to go!
Freedom to lead
Skills children need in the future to make them successful ~ Habits of
Mind, key competencies & values, thinking, new ideas, innovation
