Some businesses use this as a reason NOT to have a facebook, but if you can handle it online in a public forum; that says a lot about your company.

  6. If your profile currently is admin to any other accounts, you will need to transfer this over. Changing a profile to a page will eliminate all subsidiary accounts (aka other pages).
  7. Be sure to download the information that you have on your companies Profile. When you transfer it to a page, only the name and the initial profile picture will be transferred over.
  8. Download your archive so you can have your photos and videos also your “about me” if you have spent some time crafting that.You can then copy and paste everything else in to your page profile!
  9. This is the type of stuff you can get with your Archive. It may take a while for Facebook to populate this for you, but once you have it you can start copying and pasting! It populates itself in a website style with links and everything! Try it on your personal account; it ’s pretty cool to see what they have about you!You can then copy and paste everything else in to your page profile!
  10. Now the conversion process starts! Go to the settings cog again and go down to HELP.This nice little window will pop up for you. Type in Profile to Page and it tells you how to do it! (We’ve already covered this information, so now you can click start converting.It will then take you to a screen that I will get to in a little bit. But for now we will jump back to people who don’t currently have a facebook page and go through creating a new one!
  11. Consolidate your pages! If you have multiple accounts that you want to merge together, we are covering that now! You can aggregate your likes and reach a larger audience.
  12. Start with the page that has the most likes; this is the page that will remain the same. The rest of the pages likes will be migrated over and added to this.
