Chana futures decline on high supply.
Chana prices fell by Rs 27 per quintal in futures market on high
supplies in the spot market amid a fall in demand as festive
season nears its end. At the National Commodity and
Derivatives Exchange, chana for delivery in December month
fell by Rs 27, or 0.62 per cent per quintal with an open interest
of 68,970 lots. Market analysts said high supplies in the spot
market and a fall in demand in the domestic market following
 Trading tip: end of festive season mainly influenced chana prices at futures
trade.

Jeera prices rose 0.52 percent per quintal in futures trade as
TGTS-14680/14600 speculators hiked positions tracking a firm spot market trend
on pick up in demand.
