2.  MARKET ANALYSIS:
 Key benchmark indices eked out small gains on the first trading session of new month. The barometer
index, BSE Sensex, was provisionally up 41.83 points or 0.23%, off about 40 points from the day's
high and up about 100 points from the day's low.
 BSE Sensex was up 41.83 points or 0.23% to 18,547.21.
 The S&P CNX Nifty was up 23.10 points or 0.41% to 5,642.80, as per provisional figures.
 From the 30-share Sensex pack, 20 stocks rose while the rest of them fell.
 India's largest utility vehicle maker by sales Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) rose 2.18% to Rs 903.50,
which is also a record high of the stock. M&M announced an all time high monthly auto sales number
of 53,438 units in October 2012, representing a 29% growth over October 2011 which stood at 41,506
units. Marico, Nestle India and Dabur India rose by between 0.2% to 1.79%.Tata Global Beverage
jumped 6.19% on robust Q2 results.
