WORK HISTORY
I have worked at various national and international secondaryschools in Malawi,
Mozambique and South Africa. I have also worked as Training Manager in 6000-
employee railway organization in Malawi for 12 years.
I have taught mathematics and/or commercial subject at all grades. In all schools,
students have loved and understood my teaching style, resulting in their increased
learning morale and improved academic performance. At Maputo International
schoolI displayed my organizational ability by proposing that students at the same
grade be grouped A, B and C and be taught at the same time by different teachers
with different homework and tests at their level of academic ability. The end result
was that learning morale, competitiveness and academic performance in students
were enhanced.
At my current school, I have instilled hardworking spirit in students by the way I
assess them in bothwritten and oral answers. My feedback is always positive. I
give fortnight tests on given topic, out of which 20 best students are displayed on
noticeboard. Such displays encourage students to put extra effort. My students
have excelled very well in national examinations, with 49 distinctions in
mathematics every year on average. Such good results have contributed to influx of
students to the school-800 to 1000. [I strongly believe that I was born a teacher
and my teachertraining at various learning institutions has enhancedmy
teaching abilities and competences]
