2. What is Web 1.0? Web 1.0 are personal or institutional sites based on ‘http’ (Hyper Text Transfer Protocol) to publish information. They are static Web pages designed with frames and ‘gif’ buttons, and with a reduced need of being updated. These sites are very useful to issue information; however, there is no direct contact between the user and the site owner. That is, the user cannot participate in the creation of the site.
