9. What is the Manufacturing and Product Design Diploma about? The Diploma in Manufacturing and Product Design aims to equip learners with the world class skills and knowledge necessary to make a valuable contribution to the UK’s manufacturing competitiveness within a global economy. It will introduce learners to the breadth of the manufacturing environment and industries through a holistic applied learning approach.
