9 of our 12 aircraft are Tow-capable, ready assets either already forward deployed or
ready to deploy within 96 hours and meet whatever mission we are faced with.
Your hard work, your long hours, your focus to the task put us in a position where last
week we routinely had five different aircraft flying between Bahrain, Panama City, and
Norfolk. It has been a long time since we have seen that level of operational excellence.
My thanks to each and every one of you for helping reach this point. In particular, I'd like
to thank the CNAL tiger team sent TAD to us for their hard work in getting us out in front
of the enormous amount of maintenance we had to perform.
On top of your stellar efforts here in Norfolk and in Bahrain, our exercise detachment in
Panama City finished a fantastic two weeks of training completing 26 of 29 scheduled Well done, Shipmate!
missions. This nearly 90% sortie completion rate is what we should expect from the YN3(AW) Kuhn
hard work you put in to getting our aircraft and systems performing well.
You are setting a new standard of operational excellence, maintenance performance,
and professional behavior.
Congratulations Blackhawks! Keep up the fantastic work!
