1. To establish guidelines on proper case selection for benign and malignant disease to perform
laparoscopic pancreatic resection.
2. Standardization of techniques to perform safe minimally invasive pancreatic resection.
3. Identifying problems faced during laparoscopic pancreatic resection and the optimal man-
agement strategy for the same.
4. To discuss various protocols to enable early identification and management of post operative
complications following laparoscopic pancreatic resection in order to minimize morbidity and
mortality.
5. To stratify, devise and formulate a structured training programme to promote the science of
Laparoscopic Pancreatic Resection among young aspiring minimal access surgeons across the
globe.
