Project Plans As my project I volunteered in an Early Beginnings School, where I went around to different classrooms and saw the children in their school setting. Some of these children were not only autistic but were also poor and many were from families with one parent or a drug or alcohol addicted parent.
In these schools the children start the day with breakfast, for some this is their only meal of the day. Many of the children at the school I volunteered at were Latino and many had all odds against them..The majority of them could not speak English and then they have to learn a second language and learn how to make their bodies work so that they can be successful in life.
