Natural lighting
with all the images the use of Natural light appears in all of the
photo’s as this gives the images the viewer the understanding that
this is a real match and the lighting above give the clear
understanding of the game is playing in overcast conditions. it also
clashes with the kits of the players but also highlights them even
more with the overcast settings it makes the image more
interesting to view
SunLight
The Sunlight in this photo is were all the players are standing and it
looks like they are highlighting the players in the field and creates the
focus of attention in this picture which gives the viewer a point of
interest the use of Sunlight is visible in this

2. without sunlight the images become very hard to see and start
to distort the main focus of the image as you see in this image
and the ones below the main focus becomes very grainy and
the background becomes very hard to see as well as this the
natural light is very minimal and the camera tries to focus on
one certain area with the lack of light
as you see with the two images that without
the natural light the images become hard to
see and becomes very dark to see where as
the with the light it brings out the colours of
the grass very well

3. Focus/Depth of field
when taking Photographs the image always has to have a
focus point and being able to portrait that in the way of the
brief and how it relates to the subject this photo focuses on the
closes set of stumps but as well as that you see the other set
of stumps and the sight screen so it gives the viewer to see
more to the picture instead of something is just in middle but to
explore the photograph in more detail
as you see in this image as well you can see the main focus of
this image being the sign but as well as this you get to see
inside as well to give the image a bit more of an edge

Rule of Thirds
with the rule of thirds it has to high different point of interests in one
photo and in this photo it shows it well with the the batsman and
fielder in the background taking up one side where as you see the
fielder and umpire taking up the left hand side which gives the

with most images a good background make an image look more
powerful and beautiful at the same time and with this it gives a
rather simple picture of a fielder walking back to his position but
with the background of the trees and sightscreen it makes it more
vivid image and great to loom out
