Dublin 1. The Dublin: One City, One Book choice for 2013 is Strumpet City

                  MEMORIES OF STRUMPET CITY
Monday, 22nd April at 12 noon. Meet outside St. Kevin’s Church,

era of tenements, widespread unemployment, poverty and the
Great Lockout and this tour takes us through parts of the city still
awash with memories of more desperate times for Dublin’s working
classes. The tour will conclude at The Church Bar & Restaurant
on Jervis Street where we’ve been kindly invited for an afternoon
session of Irish traditional music. www.dublinonecityonebook.ie
All Walks and Tours last about 90 Minutes and no
advance booking is necessary. All of our historical
walking tours are led by acclaimed historian Pat Liddy.
