Responsible for overseeing day to day law enforcement activities, training and supervising law enforcement
personnel, maintaining, auditing, and updating training records; assigning personnel, ensuring that all training
standards are met, report preparation, and handling a wide variety of special projects. Administers the
execution of law enforcement and anti-terrorism force protection for 28 Naval Security members, 40 auxiliary
Security Force Members, and 21 security contractors at the base.
▪ Serves as Watch Commander, with duties including conducting investigations, interviewing case principals
and witnesses, suspect apprehension, conducting crime prevention activities, physical security
coordination, crowd control/, report preparation, and other watch-related functions.
▪ Also recommends physical security enhancements, conducting anti-terrorism defense and weapons
proficiency, and acting as liaison with public service agencies.
▪ Serves as Auxiliary Security Force Coordinator, and has led 52 trainings sessions for 47 qualified Auxiliary

supervision, workflow coordination, delegating assignments, implementing security measures, conducting anti-
terrorism measures (on vehicles), forklift operation, staff evaluation, emergency response coordination, and
staff evaluation.

▪ Conducted more than 200 random anti-terrorism measures (fixed Level III compound).
▪ Served as Mission Commander (Chief of the Guard), leading and supervising seven personnel on three

other related assignments.
▪ Provided waterborne security for an operation which encompassed 5,600 personnel, 642 housing units,
and 24 tenant activities for in nine remote locations, as well as seven forward-deployed ships.
▪ Served as Field Training Officer, overseeing day to day training operations, and ensuring strict compliance
to training parameters and expectations.
▪ As Coxswain, served as Craft Commander for six patrol craft, which were equipped with crew and
weapons protecting high-value assets.

Patrolman/Gate Sentry I (4/02-4/04)
Worked at Naval Security Force DET, and was based in Guam. Responsible for patrol work, area surveillance,
ensuring proper visitor identification (personnel and vehicles), pier security, traffic control, ensuring military and
civilian personnel safety, report preparation, emergency response, and other patrol-related functions.
▪ Provided security and traffic control in support of USS Kitty Hawk battle group port visit, and was integral in
ensuring safety of more than 5,000 military and civilian personnel.
▪ Handled law enforcement and security for U.S. Naval Forces, marinas, and 30 tenant commands, which
covered 17,000 acres of military property.
