Primary group and social media group, don’t want, not invited, cannot and didn’t know, design a program for that group, from the begiining, not as an add-on but as another event: you will organsie two events.
Biggest learning. Yes I want to join online. Never seen that people choose between live or online, People choose to go or not to go. Hybrid is not cannibalizing on live events. It’s a myth. Not eating away. Make sure you identify these people, because then you can reach out to them.
Share your program because nobody will cross a full day for an online event. Think about experience…as much online. Start as early as possible and consider which part you want to do live which online etc.
Human side. If we organsie hybrid events our team is: virtual MC, social media moderator en stagemanager. More and more talkshow format!
Not only questions, but also interaction. Polls etc. Live audience is not so much interested in online, but online is in online!
