• Google Earth is free, downloadable
software that can be used for, what
it was earlier believed, the
impossible explorations of our
planet.
• It is an easy-to-navigate satellite
views of the entire Earth over-
layered with pictures, facts, and
even YouTube videos and
Wikipedia articles.
• Because it is so easy to use, it sparks
an innate curiosity about the world
in which we live—users can even
view their own homes and
neighbourhoods from an aerial
perspective.

4. Why Teach with (GE)
 presents a great deal of information in a geographic context
 is easy to install and use
 is an excellent venue for inquiry-based activities
 is appropriate for educational use in a wide range of subject areas

 you can see elevation

surface. This feature is
an extremely fun aspect
of Google Earth,
particularly when you are
viewing hilly and
mountainous terrain.

 The ruler tool allow us to
measure distances of real world
objects without leaving their
classroom. You can measure the
distance around an object,
between point A to Point B or
find diameter and radius.
