This free course developed understanding of
online security. It taught how to recognise the
threats that could be harmful online and the
steps to take to reduce the chances of them
happening
The course also framed online safety in the
context of the wider world, introducing different
types of malware, including viruses and trojans,
as well as concepts such as network security,
cryptography, identity theft and risk
management.
