About this Support Package
This Support Package corrects problems detected in version 10.0 of SAP BusinessObjects EPM Add-in
for Microsoft Office.
This document contains technical details on installing the Support Package.
Caution:
The Support Package 07 is only intended for the following applications:
• Planning and Consolidation for the Microsoft Platform
• Planning and Consolidation for SAP NetWeaver
Note:

To install the EPM Add-in for Microsoft Office Support
Package 07
1. To install the Support Package 07 and to keep the .net 3.5 version, do as follows:
a. On SMP, open the SBOP EPM EXCEL CLIENT 10.0 component.
b. Download and extract the contents of the .zip package for Support Package 07 and upload the
Support Package EPM Addin Support Package 07.msp file on the Planning and Consolidation
server:
• for the BPC version for SAP NetWeaver, refer to the EPM Add-in for Microsoft Office Installation
Guide, chapter Prerequisites for Installing EPM Add-in for Microsoft Office from SAP
BusinessObjects Planning and Consolidation, version for SAP NetWeaver,
• for BPC version for the Microsoft platform, refer to the SAP BusinessObjects Planning and
Consolidation 10.0 Installation Guide, chapter Installing Planning and Consolidation
Administration Client and the SAP BusinessObjects EPM solutions, Add-in for Microsoft Office.
The auto-update feature will then enable users to install the Support Package on their client
machine.
2. To install the Support Package 07 and upgrade the .net version from version 3.5 to 4.0, do as follows:

You must first install Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 redistribuable or later.

Uninstall the EPM Add-in for Microsoft Office from the Windows control panel.
On SMP, open the SBOP EPM ADD-IN BIG VOL 10.0 component.
Download and extract the contents of the .zip package for Support Package 07.
Execute the EPM add-in_NET40.exe file and install it as indicated in the EPM Add-in for Microsoft
Office Installation Guide.
