Source: McKinsey Global Institute Preparing for China’s urban billion mars 09 4 möten per år??? 350 million will be added to China’s urban population by 2030 – more than the population of today’s United States, which means that; 1 billion people who will live in China’s Cities by 2030 (currently 650 million) 221 Chinese cities will by then have one million + people living in them- Europe has 35 today 170 mass-transit systems could be built. Europe has currently approx. 75 Urban economy will raise from 75-95% as share of Chinas National GDP 1000 billion RMB/ year will be invested in urban development during the period (WWF)
