2. Drupal Drupal is a free and open-source content management system (CMS) and content management framework (CMF) written in PHP and distributed under the GNU General Public License. It is used as a back-end system for at least 1.5% of all websites worldwide ranging from personal blogs to corporate, political, and government sites including whitehouse.gov and data.gov.uk.It is also used for knowledge management and business collaboration. Use Drupal to build everything from personal blogs to enterprise applications. Thousands of add-on modules and designs let you build any site you can imagine
4. Customizable content CCK is a very powerful system in drupal, which is also known as field API in the latest version which allows user to create custom fields to either existing contents like article, blogs, users or our own custom content types.
6. Categorize contents using taxonomy Taxonomy, a powerful core module, gives your sites use of the organizational keywords known in other systems as categories, tags, or metadata. In Drupal, these terms are gathered within "vocabularies." The Taxonomy module allows you to create, manage and apply those vocabularies.
8. Get Uber cool looks with Themes! Themes allow you to change the look and feel of your Drupal site. You can use themes contributed by others or create your own to share with the community. Contributed themes are not part of any official release and may not have optimized code/functionality for your purposes. You can also create a sub-theme of an existing theme. A sub-theme inherits a parent theme's resources. Thus allowing greater extensibility on the presentation layer.
10. Contributed and Customizable modules A Drupal module is an extension to the Drupal CMS. It is written in PHP and uses the Drupal hook system to implement functionality not otherwise offered by Drupal Core. You can leverage tons of functionality by simply installation these modules, It is also easy for you to really write a custom module as well.
