It is with great pleasure that I present you with the latest edition of the
Page Personnel Salary Survey in the area of Shared Services Centres and
Business Process Outsourcing (SSC/BPO). Inside you will find information
on the current market conditions as well remunerations levels for this sector
in Poland.
For nearly two decades Page Personnel has supported both the candidates, offering professional
consultancy and assistance in career planning, as well as companies which, just like us, believe that
their employees are the key to achieving success. Regardless of the geographic area, we strive to
be a trustworthy and stable business partner for both groups. The data presented in the Survey is
based on the everyday work of our consultants and managers – in 2012 we met with close to 11,000
candidates in Poland and successfully completed over 850 recruitment projects.
The situation on the Polish SSC/BPO market can be characterised as dynamic and in constant growth.
In the past 7 years, nearly 300 international companies have decided to locate their centres in Poland
– third place on the world map of outsourcing services. This is not the end – more openings are still
being planned. What makes global brands want to build their centres in Poland? Undoubtedly well
educated candidates with a knowledge of foreign languages and relatively low labour costs.What is
interesting is that apart from the main agglomerations, other second- and third-tier cities, are in the
race for attracting new investors.
The outsourcing sector is, without a doubt, becoming the candidates’ market. From the employer’s
point of view, the most desired combination is one of adequate professional experience along with
foreign language skills which with a large (and ever growing) demand, must have an impact on the
candidates’ financial expectations and counteroffers.

The information presented in this survey is taken from 2 main sources:
- analysis of placements made by Page Personnel and Michael Page in Poland (offers
accepted by our candidates)
- Page Personnel and Michael Page database with actual salary levels declared by interviewed
candidates working in the SSC/BPO sector.
Structure of the Salary Survey
Our intention was to present not only raw data but also to provide important insight into the
market showing typical responsibilities for each type of role, as well as the experience and
skills that are expected from the candidates.
This was possible thanks to our dedicated team of consultants working exclusively on SSC/
BPO recruitment processes.
Profile descriptions have been expanded by a typical reporting line/structure.

We have presented a minimum and maximum level of basic salaries in 3 different locations:
