HDFC Bank net
rises 30% in Q3
Mumbai: HDFC Bank has re­
ported yet another quarter of
30% growth in net profit
driven by a sharp growth in
non­intere s t i n c o m e . T h e
bank earned a net profit of Rs
1,859.1 crores, an increase of 30%
over the quarter ended December
31,2011.
The lender posted a rise in
non­performing assets com­
pared to the preceding
quarter but percentage of
assets NPAs continued to be
among the lowest in industry
Post­results, the bank stock
dropped a little over 1 % to Rs
659 as most traders had factored
in a 30% growth in net profit,
