- Timeline Key dates (Section 6): -Deadline for submitting objection and questions is 2/19, 3:00 p.m. (Pacific Time) -Deadline for submitting proposals is :4/2, 3:00 p.m. (Pacific Time) Minimum Qualifications (Section 4): -Minimum Qualifications are mandatory requirements and if not met proposals will be deemed non-responsive and will not be considered any further. At least five (5) years providing organic materials processing services; and At least one continuous year of organic materials processing with a minimum annual throughput of 15,000 tons. -Minimum Qualifications must be certified in Attachment C, Proposer Certification Form. How obtain this RFP (Section 8) -The RFP may be downloaded from BidSync.com free of charge -In the event this RFP is obtained through any means other than BidSync, the City will not responsible for the completeness, accuracy or timeliness of the final RFP document. - Submit your proposals in accordance to Section 12 and 14 of the RFP -Submit your cost proposal and financial statements in separate sealed envelopes - Make sure you submit all the required attachments, especially, Signed Proposer certification Form, Attachment C; and Proposal bond (bid security), Attachment E; and Exemplar Agreement, Attachment G
- Section 14 and Attachment A, Project Requirements is what you will be evaluated on, so make sure your responses are complete and through. Local and Small Business Preference is optional -Local considered Santa Clara and you must have a business tax ID number -You have to be Local before you can be granted Small -Definition of small is 35 or fewer employees for entire business.
