- John Scully ( CEO of PepsiCo.) replaced Steve as CEO of Apple, Apple fell from grace and became a niche market player, i.e. its market share was very small compared to other companies. Steve founded small computer manufacturing company. Pixar, an animation company that went on to produce Toy Story & A bugs life.
- To revive the apple as market share was failing, no new s/w development & outdated OS. Developed simple, stylish & internet friendly computer. Similarly to yesteryears MAC-GUI innovations, that caught fancy of people. Matured and looks to professional staff for ideas and advice. Owns only 1 share of Apple stock but works his heart out. As said by Oracle CEO & apples board member- Larry Ellison.
